Midlands-based full service agency, Publicity Services has added this stunning housing CGI to its rapidly growing portfolio of architectural illustrations.
Created for a local housing and property developer, the architectural visualisation shows an exclusive property development in Cheshire. The development consists of two executive homes and sits on level ground which has been excavated from an embankment running beside a country lane.
The client provided architect’s drawings of the main elevations for each house together with material specifications for the external finishes. Structural engineer’s drawings for groundworks and embankment retention systems provided additional information from which the surrounding landscape could be prepared and the development’s overall layout discerned.
The final property CGI was completed in just three stages, with the initial design undergoing minor changes following comments from architect, engineer and developer.
The result is a stunningly realistic architectural illustration which will feature in property marketing and sales materials.
The client was delighted with both the speed of delivery and minimal fuss, whilst the architect’s reaction summed up the quality of the visualisation: “The image is very realistic (you sure you haven’t built them already and this is just a photo…?).”
Publicity Services employs CGI techniques to create a wide range of high quality visualisations. In addition to housing and property CGIs, the company has produced imaginary urban landscapes, 3D product models and interior visuals.
Managing director, Dean Murphy, comments, “The CGI part of our business perfectly complements our work with house builders, property developers and building materials manufacturers as a full service agency.
“We are using CGI more and more as a high quality alternative to photography. It is proving particularly useful where scenes cannot be photographed, either because they have not been built or where budgetary constraints prevent expensive set-building.
“CGI is also ideal for depicting a wide variety of building materials. 3D models can be created to promote the benefits of the products, by showing their inner workings or their installation. It certainly reaches the parts that photography cannot reach!”
