Mount Pleasant Studio is open for filming

Mount Pleasant Studio, Central London’s premier soundproofed film and TV studio, is open for filming. After three small shoots in May, live-streaming with just four people involved, two larger scale TV commercial shoots are taking place this week with seven people attending. As well as enquiries about regular shoots there have been asked about live-streaming options for corporate presentations and we have high speed fibre connection in the studio for this purpose.

The studio has been prepared for a new safe way of working, with all mitigating actions possible taken to reduce the risk of transmission of COVID-19, including separate entrance and exit, antiviral copper door pulls/push plates and cleaning of high-touch surfaces during shoots.

The company strategy is detailed on a dedicated webpage and includes a calculation of how many people can safely work at the studio while maintaining social distancing as well as information on their approach to cleaning (including four new hand sanitising stations), catering and the safe use of in-house and hired-in equipment.

For the moment there is also an extra optional Green Room above the studio to allow clients, talent or wardrobe to be further socially distanced from the rest of the unit.
