Where is London’s most central Live Streaming studio?
With upload speeds of up to 900MB/sec Mount Pleasant Studio has become very popular as a venue for Live Streamed shoots – Awards Ceremonies, Staff Conferences, Investor Presentations, Medical Discussion Forums and more. The studio is in Farringdon, an easy distance from the City and Soho, and well connected by public transport, including the soon to open Farringdon Crossrail station.
One recent live streaming project was MG’s UK Dealer Conference, with a panel in the studio and contributors participating via Zoom. Other projects including the LGBT Awards, The BTEC Awards and an XR virtual investor presentation for CVC Capital.
To make shooting at Mount Pleasant Studio even more pleasant, the spacelights that lit our infinity cove have gone, replaced by 8 state of the art Nanlux Dyno 650C LED Soft Lights. No more sweltering under hot lights and these are MUCH brighter and can be any brightness or colour you want, controlled wirelessly via an intuitive handheld device. They are twice as bright as the spacelights, wirelessly dimmable and tuneable to daylight, tungsten or any colour you like. We’ve been supplied by 100% renewable energy since 2008, but it still seemed wrong to be burning 38000 watts when LED panels consume 15% of that with higher output.
We made a 60 second video to show the installation:
We think London’s most central soundproof film and TV studio just got better – please come over and see for yourself.
